Tatiana Mora Liautaud
Tatiana Mora Liautaud is a social activist and international development specialist with a passion for leveraging media and culture as tools for social and economic development. She is the co-founder and Managing Director of FotoKonbit, a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization created to engage, educate and empower Haitians to tell their own stories and document their community through photography.
Previously, Tatiana served as the Photography Director at Challenges News Magazine, the only local news magazine in Haiti, and was part of the leadership team that executed its launch in 2015. With her extensive knowledge of Haitian art and culture, Tatiana has managed and produced major local and international exhibitions including the Gingerbread Gallery in Haiti, Miami and New York. An experienced educator, photographer, and program designer, Tatiana has also led education focused initiatives as the Project Director at PRODEV, a Haitian foundation that operates high achieving community-driven schools and community centers throughout Haiti. Earlier in her career Tatiana worked in the tourism and hospitality sector, one of the biggest drivers of the economy in the Caribbean region. She went on to study Hotel and Restaurant Management in Sevilla Spain at the well known Hospitality school, Escuela De Hosteleria De Sevilla.
